We've been getting quite a few Wall posts and private Notes from concerned DA members wanting us to help support their fight against proposed 'Orphaned Works' legislation that they believe is in imminent danger of taking away the rights to their artwork and creations.

Please check the following article for the real scoop. To sum it up, there is currently no such legislation and even if there were, it wouldn't function the way you've been lead to believe:

Please stop the wave of freak-out that's been washing over DA and let people know that it's just not true. The sooner they know, the sooner we can all get back to posting art and having fun here. Always do research on this kind of thing before launching petitions and yelling out from the mountaintops.
